Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technical consulting or project/program management in corporate IT, professional IT services, or product development.
  • People management experience in technical environment or experience mentoring and coaching team members.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with relevant technologies like Big Data and Developer Operations (DevOps) and experience in scalable application development.
  • Experience in leading IT implementations, IT support, deployments, or business development activities.
  • Experience in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++, etc.).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.

About the job

The Google Cloud Customer Success team is responsible for effectively introducing Google’s clients to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and to Google Workspace, assisting them from inception to production. We solve challenging and complex technical problems, ranging from infrastructure migration, to network optimization, to security best practices, and much more. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of consultants, architects, and engineers. Your team will directly engage with customers for onboarding to GCP, landing zone setup, and first workload migration ensuring a frictionless start for the customer as their journey begins with Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of consultants, architects, and engineers.
  • Consult with customers on technical onboarding, landing zone setup, first workload migration, and other issues based on in-depth product and technical knowledge.
  • Develop technical tools and assets. Document reproducible solutions for customers and partners.
  • Provide highly technical implementation support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
  • Work non-standard hours as needed.
